Souper Bowl of Caring
Shepherd’s Table is proud to participate in the annual Souper Bowl of Caring, a nationwide movement that mobilizes communities to fight hunger around Super Bowl Sunday. This initiative offers a simple, meaningful way for local businesses, churches, and organizations to support neighbors facing food insecurity right here in our community.
From January 26 through February 8, 2026, we will be collecting canned and non-perishable food items to help stock our pantry and provide nourishing meals to individuals and families in need. Participation can be as easy as placing a collection box in your business, church, or organization and inviting your community to give.
Priority pantry needs: Canned goods: Soup, Fruit, Meat (e.g., tuna, chicken); Boxed meals: Hamburger Helper, Macaroni and cheese, Instant rice, and Pasta Dishes; Pantry staples: Pasta, Rice, Cereal, Flour, and Sugar

BBQ Fundraiser
April 25th
Join us for a laid-back community BBQ at Shepherd’s Table, cooked by Sammy and served with plenty of neighborly energy. Good food, full plates, and room at the table for everyone.

Entry Fee: $125 per Person | $450 per Team
Includes: Golf with cart, Driving range balls and practice facilities before the event, Lunch, Two drink tickets, and Participation in on-course contests
The Steve Powell Annual Golf Outing honors a man who was more than a supporter of Shepherd’s Table. He was a true champion of our mission.
As a longtime Board Chair, Steve poured his heart into this organization, helping guide Shepherd’s Table through years of growth and change. His leadership, vision, and generosity shaped who we are today. He spearheaded the complete remodel of our kitchen, ensuring we could continue serving hot, nutritious meals in a more efficient and welcoming space.
Steve’s legacy lives on every day in the meals we serve, the neighbors we support, and the community he loved so deeply. We’re proud to honor his memory with a day of camaraderie, compassion, and community on the golf course. Exactly the kind of day Steve would have wanted.
Thank you, Steve. We miss you, and we carry your spirit with us always.
Ms. Corinthia’s Famous Fish Fry Fundraiser
Ms. Corinthia’s legendary fish fry is back this September 27—and it’s for a good cause. Join us at Shepherd’s Table for crispy, golden, perfectly seasoned fish, made with love and served up as a community favorite.
Proceeds support our mission to provide consistent access to quality food for individuals and families across Horry County. Come hungry, bring a friend, and get there early—these plates go fast.
Canstruction Competition
Shepherd’s Table will be hosting a Canstruction Competition!
Canstruction is a team-based design and build competition where teams construct large-scale structures made entirely from canned food. After the event, every can is donated to Shepherd’s Table to support food access across Horry County.
It’s creative. It’s competitive. And it directly feeds people.

Monthly Events
Resource Fair
Every third Thursday of the month, The Shepherd’s Table hosts a Community Resource Fair, where local partners come together to connect our neighbors with vital support. From housing and healthcare to education, job training, and more, these fairs highlight just how many resources are available right here in Horry County.
Service providers interested in setting up a table should message the Community Change Initiative directly for more information.
Fresh Express
Join us at The Shepherd’s Table for our monthly Fresh Xpress—a no-cost produce distribution open to all neighbors in Horry County. Each month, we share fresh fruits and vegetables to help families stretch grocery budgets, support healthy eating, and nourish our community.
When: Every 3rd Saturday of the month, 9:00–11:00 AM
Where: Shepherd’s Table, 1412 Gamecock Ave, Conway, SC.
