Who We Are

The People Behind the Table

Corinthia Bellamy

Ms. Corinthia, our Community Kitchen Manager, is an amazing cook who brings expertise and creativity to every dish she prepares. She manages the kitchen and dining room with energy and excellence, keeping everything running seamlessly. Our neighbors love her for her delicious meals, her warm presence, and the welcoming atmosphere she helps create every day. She is the heart of our dining room, making every guest feel like family the moment they walk through the door.

From coordinating volunteers to planning special holiday meals, she brings people together and makes the community kitchen a place neighbors look forward to visiting.

Woody Goff

We are excited to welcome Woody Goff as the new director of Shepherd’s Table!

A Horry County native and Coastal Carolina University graduate, Woody brings nonprofit leadership experience in event management, community engagement, partnerships, marketing, and organizational development. Throughout his career, he has led public-facing organizations and built lasting relationships with businesses, donors, volunteers, and community partners.

We look forward to working with Woody as Shepherd’s Table continues to grow and meet our neighbors' needs.

Deb Smith

Deb Smith is the Food Pantry Manager at Shepherd’s Table. During her first year, she has helped expand food access across Horry County through mobile distributions and expanded refrigerated locker service for neighbors who cannot visit during regular pantry hours. She also launched the Summer Kids Pantry, helping families keep children fed when school meals are unavailable.

Deb has strengthened community partners to bring more food into the pantry and reach more households. Her resourcefulness has helped Shepherd’s Table grow to serve approximately 600 families each week.

Our Mission

The Shepherd’s Table is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to provide consistent, accessible food support to neighbors in our community.

We run a community kitchen serving hot meals twice a day during the week and a food pantry where people can get groceries to take home. Each year, we serve more than 25,000 hot meals and provide groceries to over 6,000 neighbors.

Our History

Shepherd’s Table opened in 2008 with the support of local churches, community leaders, and 20 volunteers. From a small rented space serving one meal a day, we have grown into a community kitchen and food pantry serving neighbors across Horry County.

We purchased our building and expanded the kitchen in 2015 and 2022. Today, volunteers help prepare and serve lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, supported by food donations from local restaurants and grocery stores.

Our services have expanded to include Fresh Xpress, a monthly produce distribution started in 2016, and a client-choice pantry and OrderAhead lockers, both added in 2024.

With Gratitude for Our Grant Support

Shepherd’s Table is grateful for the generous grant support we receive from community and foundation partners. These investments help sustain our client-choice pantry, community kitchen, and expanding programs serving children, families, seniors, and individuals across Horry County.

Grant funding allows us to respond to local food insecurity with reliable access to nutritious food, efficient service models, and programs designed around the real needs of our neighbors.

Their partnership plays a critical role in strengthening food access and building a more resilient community.

We extend our sincere thanks to the following foundations for their support:
