Community Outreach

Mobile Distributions

Many families cannot reliably travel to our physical location due to transportation and geographic barriers. We are expanding into the community to meet that need.

Beginning in March, we will implement four structured monthly mobile distributions.

Through our partnership with the Lowcountry Food Bank, these distributions will include:

  • fresh produce

  • dairy

  • eggs

  • meat

  • bread

  • shelf-stable staples

Kids Pantry

  • Every Friday (June 12 - August 14), the pantry will be open for children aged 4-17

  • Children can select healthy breakfast and lunch foods, snacks, and drinks for the week

  • Parents/caregivers will have access fresh produce market

  • There are no income requirements to participate in this program

Outreach to Schools and Families with Children

When school-based meal programs pause or end, many children and families face an immediate gap in reliable access to food, increasing the risk of hunger during summer months.

In April, we will attend Multicultural Night at three local schools to provide information about our food pantry and our Summer Kids Lunch Program.

Our team will include both English and Spanish speakers to help families learn how our pantry can support them in accessing fresh, nutritious foods.

We are committed to helping families enjoy healthy and culturally appropriate meals throughout the year.
